Our call as the church is to be fruitful.  These five practices have been offered by Bishop Schnase after years of studying growing, fruitful churches.  Each of them were strong in these categories. Each of them were able to focus their energies on these practices and make them a priority. As we study them together, think of how we can reflect these practices in our ministries.     The Journey The Christian life is more than worship on Sunday's.  All throughout the week, we have opportunities for personal growth.  The Journey is a devotional guide that leads you into a deeper understanding of each weekly topic.  Each week includes the main scripture, space to write notes and other thoughts.  There are also other related texts that you can read throughout the week as well as questions to ponder.  You can use these questions to start conversations in groups both within and outside the church, or simply reflect on them to yourself.
